Operative epistemology is a method founded by Donata Fabbri and Alberto Munari at Genova University and International Centre of Cultural Psychology.
¡¦span class="corsivo">To set a strategy to explore the processes and construction of knowledge, finalized to understand your own possibilities of  retaining knowledge about the subject you are working on and consequently a general reflection on ways of exploring and using knowledge and culture¡¦ (Wikipedia)

"In modern culture, very often we separate the theorical reflection from the moment that we apply the practical side, putting them in different moments, as if the first should always precede the second, in different circumstances and levels, the first usually more prestigious than the second. The result is that it is very difficult to apply theory to every day life, both professional and private, and to understand the connection between theory and the application based on it. This misunderstanding often makes us abandon the process of accumulating knowledge leading us towards alternative subjects, judged more qualified or easier to obtain quickly, in particular the mass media. This way we loose control of the instruments essential for our psycho-affective-existential equilibrium." ( Alberto Munari )

"The zone of application is the search for knowledge and the strategy of applying it during the period of study." (Wikipedia).

Applied to the Bruno Munari Method ® workshops, allows us to come back into possession of this important reflection,  to understand our own process of accumulating knowledge.
